Lanoguard underbody rust prevention treatment is suitable for use on cars, vans, 4x4's and pick-ups and once applied will stay in place and adhere tenaciously. It cannot be washed off or dissolved by petrol nor washed out or displaced by road spray or jet washing. It won’t evaporate either! So it stays in place and keeps doing its job long after other products would have disappeared.

Although the ideal time to protect your vehicle is before any corrosion takes place, sound and stable surface rust is absolutely fine to be Lanoguarded,  we just make sure any loose or flaking bits of laminating rust, paint or other coatings are removed prior to applying the product. 

Lanoguard then works by providing a complete hermetic seal on the surface, which displaces moisture and oxygen – the two components required for the rusting process to occur. Lanoguard can’t trap moisture, and due to its self-healing properties will not crack or dry out.

Our Lanoguard application process includes; 

• A full underbody steam clean/pressure wash
• Wire brushing of any loose surface coverings to prepare the area
• Brush on super concentrated Lanoguard grease to highly vulnerable areas such as welded seams
• Spray inject Lanoguard product in to chassis rails/box sections
• Full underbody sprayed application of Lanoguard rust prevention agent 

We will require your vehicle for a minimum of two days to allow us to thoroughly clean and dry the surface areas and also allow for the initial curing time of the product prior to driving.
